>>> Pujols one of the most beautiful villages in France
The ancient strong place of the barons of Pujols,
has gone through the trouble of history: 100-year war, Revolution;
managing to salvage its 13th architectural heritage. Two fortified
gates have survived with part of the walls and the castle. Eglise
Ste Foys holds 16th frescoes. Facing the covered market, on the main
square, half-timbered houses proudly stand. The medieval village of
Pujols offers a fantastic panoramic view on the Lot Valley and the
city of Villeneuve sur Lot.

(France’s Most Beautiful Villages) has been rigorously selected
on the quality of its architecture, environment, and patrimony. Since
1982, the association federates the energies still alive all over
France to protect and develop in the proper way the notoriety of beautiful
medieval villages, and support their evolution.

- Agen is 4 hours from Paris by train: 4 TGV
(high speed train) per day. Coming from Britain by Eurostar
means changing main line stations at Paris before catching the TGV
to Bordeaux and Agen.
- Agen is 1 hour from Paris by plane. The Airlinair
company ensures 2 flights per day during the week and a flight
on sunday evening between Paris and Agen. Departure from Orly Sud.
You can also choose Bergerac,
Toulouse
or Bordeaux
airports.
- Pujols is about 20 minutes from Agen, 1 hour from Bordeaux or Toulouse
by car, 60 km from Bergerac, 86 km from Cahors, 162 km from Pau, 230
km from Bayonne, 400 km from Nantes, 500 km from Marseille, 400 km
from Barcelone.
